EGR delete.
I just got my truck outta the shop not too long ago, and was wondering is it possible to delete the EGR and still look into your hood and see the ERG valve? I expected to look onside and see the block off plate, so before I ask my mechanic if he did the work he said he did, i would educate myself first instead of looking like an idiot

Yes it is possible and the preferred method of doing the EGR delete. The main reason of the EGR delete is to remove the EGR cooler. You need to leave the EGR valve in place and plugged in as it is part of the control loop that controls the clutch fan.
