EGR delete complete

Had the EGR delete completed yesterday. While in there the oil cooler was replaced as well. The truck is definately more responsive and the CEL is in. Doesn't come in around town but is in on when on the highway.

Did you leave the EGR plugged in place and plugged in?

Most likely you will always have the CEL on unless you buy custom tunes with the EGR strategy removed....I got Matt's tunes last month and love them....the best around

Have read on here that it's good to leave the EGR Valve in place and plugged in to keep the fan operation normal.

I also had to get a programmer to stop the CEL from being set.

Yes I left the EGR valve plugged in and in place. I will live with the CEL as I already bought the EDGE and the wife will **** if I buy another right now. II delete it and it becomes back in a few days or hours. so far so good though.
