92 F150 Transmission problems
I have a 1992 Ford F150 4x4 300 6cyl with a 4EOD trani, I had the transmission rebuilt and installed in the truck and then it sat for When the third one arrived, it was installed but now the truck slips and barely shifts. I would like to know if since the totally wrong part was installed if it did something to the transmission. Thank you for your adivce

The E4OD transmission is 100% electronic controlled. Check for Codes before throwing more parts at it.
Warm up the engine and transmission then check for Key On Engine Off (KOEO) and stored (CM) codes: Fuel Injection Technical Library » How To Run a Self-Test
Or do the above then pull the codes with a reader such as the Equus 3145.
