Hope you are all able to spend time with your families. Take your wife out for brunch or lunch. And maybe get to wrench on your truck, as well.

Yes, took my 'bride to be' out to lunch. My oldest son brought his new girlfriend to the island and we had a fun evening last night. Sold the '54 GMC yesterday right here in town for what I consider big bucks. Enough to pay for our whole 2 week wedding trip to Hawaii. It has the same cummins 6at as I put in my fridge. I had only driven it once since I 'finished' my '59. And I STILL have way too many trucks

So today the gmc went away, but as you can see on the '47 and older section I just tried to buy some guys one ton panel truck a couple hours ago...... Oh and a month ago I bought an '85 toyota landcruiser station wagon from a neighbor and 2 weeks ago I brought home an '85 mercedes diesel station wagon. (well i sort of stole them both as non-running vehicles)Both are up and running now and even licensed and insured. I was gonna pass on the mercedes, but 'you know who' loved it right through the layer of moss and she's gonna start driving it to work. His and hers white '85 wagons. So don't be counting me out yet. Now if I can just keep that guy from putting mustang 2 running gear under that tonner panel.......

The landcruiser forum and the mercedes one that I asked a few questions on pale by comparison. They lack the 'local color' I have found here. And I Buzzard, I laugh every time I read your signature line. I think your current one is even better than my other favorite...' "my those crocs you're wearing are some really nice footwear", said no one, anywhere.' And here I go, 'bragging about my possesions'. Please keep in mind,I can't recall buying anything that already ran. They're way too expensive like that
