'70 f250 running problem

As I recall Bumps just had that Kraft paper tube going from canister to air cleaner. But I was thinking if PO put in a later model engine and It's emissions in OP's truck there could be vacuum lines, bowl vent solenoids, etc. I'd sure like to see pics of the top of this engine.
