Gauge Input

Anyone here using the Glow Shift gauges? What has been your impression?
Where'd you buy them and what was the cost? How did the installation go?
I'm looking for a set for a 1997 F250 Heavy Duty 7.3 Diesel.

Thanks
Jeff

I put the Glow Shift gauges in the 97 after I purchased it. The cost was around $200 IIRR. After running them for 5 years, I woul say they are ok, but I like the Isspros I put in the 96 better. The pod that came with the Glow Shifts had some little issues, had to modify the keepers on the gauges so they would fit straight, and to me the angle of the pod is a little off, making the gauges a little harder to read. On the other hand, the Isspros were over twice the cost, and were a little easier to install, as they are all electric. So in a nut shell, the Glow Shifts are better than nothing, but as with everything quality always costs a little more.

Spend the extra money for a quality gauge the first time. Isspro and Autometer are both American made... I prefer Isspro myself.

my glow shifts are good so far, had them for a few years. there fuel pressure gauges die all the time so I gave up on that. I just add the max tow trans temp gauges that's digital and analog and I love it so far. its pretty dang bright though!
