Coolant Help
Hey guys, got a new to me N/A 7.3 F350, and was wondering if this coolant would work in it:
Mobil Delvac Extended Life
Etheline Glycol Base
Meets:
Cat EC-1
ATSM D-4656
ATSM D-6210
Navistar B-1
I know theres coolants you should use and coolants you shouldnt, but thats about it when it comes to my knowlege of these old idi cooling systems.

You should be running SCA's instead of ELC. Brands like FleetGuard are a better investment. these IDI's are susceptible to cavitation. There are hundreds of threads on this topic in this particular forum.

You can buy the test strips to see what the SCA levels are in your coolant. They also sell the additive to bring the levels up. It should be checked at every oil change. Which is a reminder, I need to check mine.
