When did they start installing Long-Lead injectors" My L99 has 8-AD's..

So its safe to say then, that trucks with the L.L..(buddy's 01), is ALOT quieter when idling vs. mine, because his is?..(very faint tapping noise)

What oil?
How old is it...?
What mods?

Mine is still a bit more clacky than Ted's now that i switched to synth... but it did quiet down a lot as illustrated in the video i posted when i switched. We both have the ae in #8 i think.

Worked on a 2001 ex in seadrift tx that had ad's across the board. Dunno if that was factory... but no R stamps on any of them.
