Is the driveshaft from a dentside 302 the sameas a bumpside 390 as long as there both short beds with 3 speed manual and 1 peice design?

Don't want to say they are same, but can be used. The drive shaft could have specific speck, but I am unaware. A drive shaft is a drive shaft. They do have specific ends that fit the tranny and rear. Match & use.

I am not 100% positive, but I thought a dentside was about 2" longer than a bumpside and that length difference was in the cab area. Wouldn't that affect the driveshaft length, or is the motor/trans back that 2" also?

And I don't know for sure about a 69 with a 390, but a 70 swb with a 302 and a 3 speed uses 1310 joints. I just had a shaft made for mine. I would assume that all of the 3.03 3 speeds had the same yoke on them, but I could be wrong. It's happened before.
