brake line help

brake line help
My 1987 bronco II XLT needs completely new brakes in the rear. The lines and such are completely rotted out so i'm planning on redoing all the brake lines front to back on my own. I've been to the local auto parts store where they have brake line in different lengths and sizes that you can buy and bend on your own. Does anybody know the sizes that I will need for the lines? If anyone can help, i'm greatly thankful.

The last time I had to replace brake lines was on a 75 Ford F-100, but the parts house could look up the length/size in the books. And that was a "Mom and Pop" shop. Call the local auto parts stores, and if that doesn't tell you what you need to know, call the Ford dealership. They will be able to tell you as well.

brake line help
Just crawl under there and measure them. You can get pretty close and if you get them a little long you can always make a few extra bends in various places to compensate and shorten them. If you get a flare kit you can even cut them wherever you need to after you bend them.
