Another Spring Code Part Number Question

I hit the jackpot this evening. A buddy of mine gave me some low-mileage take-off leafs so I can do the swap on my Ex. He used to own a suspension shop and these were what few he still had laying around. Bad news is no door code to tell me what springs these were. I've been searching for almost an hour, the front springs he gave me I matched on here to V-codes, just like I wanted 2C34-ADB. (Love the search function)

The set he gave me for the rear look almost new, but that part number is killing me:

RPN 0414
4C34-MA

(looks like the RPN number doesn't mean much, but there it is anyway)

Found lots of threads with lists of parts numbers, never saw an "MA". Even went back out and double checked to make sure it wasn't a "WV".

Thanks for any input. Sorry to gum up the forum with another one of these threads.

Those aren't part numbers, and that's the problem. Ford has no cross-reference for the stamped numbers on the springs.

Thanks for the info. Is it safe to assume that if the numbers on one set of springs are the same as another then they're both the same code? He did have another set with numbers that I matched on here to B-code springs. I'll probably go back and get those. But now I'm just curious as to what these 4C34-MA springs are rated as.

Called a couple of spring shops this morning and talked with the local Ford dealership parts guy...

Parts guy said these are off of a 2004 F250 and that they are REAR code X or Y. This is the only place I have ever heard of X being a rear code. Another spring shop told me they are for 99-04 F250's and are rated at 2700lbs each.
I guess no door code equals mystery springs. I'll probably go trade these for the known B-codes. These unknown springs were just too tempting since they are basically brand new.

Is there such a thing as Y or X REAR codes?

Not that I have heard of. X are the front springs for Snow Plow Prep package or F450 stock ones I believe. Never heard of "Y" springs but I have been known to be wrong before.

Took this from fordparts.com

(2004 F250 SD 4wd)

<label id="lblPartDescription_3C3Z5560CB" class="strong">Rear Spring</label>
<label id="lblPartExtDescription" class="special">SRW, Wide Frame WB (Raised over Axle), less auxillary spring leaf; Spring code B</label>

<label id="lblPartDescription_4C3Z5560MA" class="strong">Rear Spring</label>
<label id="lblPartExtDescription" class="special">Wide Frame WB (Raised over Axle), less auxillary spring leaf ``FROM 11/23/03''; Spring code X

</label>Guess there are X-Code rears, still no idea on the rated capacity (not trusting the 2700lb capacity I was quoted earlier)
...Still searching.
