Im new to the website so i say hello. But my ABS light flashes if i hit a bump in the road. If it rains then the same thing but if i hit the bump hard enough the speedometer will cut off and the odometer will too. I have replaced the VSS sensor in the diff but still continues to flash. Any suggestions on where to check next. Thanks for the help.
X2 on the VSS/wiring. Check the plug closely. They can look fine but could have corrosion in the wires. Look for that funny looking green powder/residue.
Check all the wiring going to the VSS. Sometimes it can get damaged and cause this.
Welcome to FTE!
I looked at that but once it hits the frame rail and goes to the front I lose it. Thanks this website has givin me a lot of info on what to do. My plan for this truck is to eventually make it a sled pull truck. when I have the money. But this ABS light is bugging me and cant figure it out.

The plug is clean from what I can tell I have cleaned it out all the dirt and water. And the VSS is a new one.

One place where they go bad is right where the wires enter the plug, if in fact the plug is bad. Something to look for at that spot is if the wire is swollen. If it is, that means moisture got inside, and between the copper, moisture, and electricity, it ate the copper up.
