Any pics?
Does anyone have a pic of the AOD tv cable connection at the carb on a Carter 1 barrel?
I have the cable connected at the trans but there isn't anything to hook it to on the carb?, maybe there is but, I have nothing. I even looked on the other three carbs I have but nothing there either.
Pics would really help.

Do you have a small plastic clip on the end of your cable that looks like it will clip into a small ball metal connector ?
My throttle and tv cable [if thats what it is] are connected to the same L shaped linkage on carb. Via plastic clips that slide onto round metal linkage on carb. Throttle on top metal ball linkage..tv cable on bottom.
Perhaps you are missing the plastic clip ?

The only piece on the carb is where the accel cable hooks up, somewhere along the time line the carb was swapped out for a new one without the tv hook up on it.
I did make a bracket, the fourth one, test drove it and now it does shift in all gears but, I'm taking it to a trans shop for them to try and get it right.
