94 f150 L6 speedo and tach work but the rest kinda work sometime. The fuel guage nevers works except for one fluke few days over a year ago. If I replace the cluster will this help or is there another problem most likely?
Sounds like you have a bad ground maybe. If you can get a wiring schematic from someone on here, or buy a manual, you can check and see what is common to each of those.
By the way, you have an I6, not an L6... L engines are for stupid FWD cars.
Yep, that ^ .
And if there's corrosion on the pins of the plug(s) that plug into the cluster and on the cluster flexible printed circuit board connectors, that'll do it too.

So keep the guages. Check for corrosion or bad ground?

Me.......I'm a cheapskate.
I would keep the guages and clean all ground points/connections/connectors, verify correct wiring, THEN see what the guages do.
I'd rather keep my cash and do some contact/connector cleaning, wiring verification, as opposed to buying something new, plugging it in, and still not having it work.
