Arm rest removal

I have a 2006 F250 Lariat with leather seats. Driver right arm rest needs repair. How does it come off? Thx in advance.

Ill tune in for this one. I heard that you pull the leather off by pulling the aft part inward and then slipping the leather forward. Then there is a bolt or something if you want to take the frame off. Not sure if thats 100%. Hopefully someone will chime in. Or is willing to try this way.

Peel the armrest cover to access the bolt and remove the bolt. ---(You'll need an allen wrench).
Remove the armrest. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

To install, tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).

If the top is worn where your elbow sits, you can simply pull the outer covers off both the driver and passenger ones off and swap them. Puts the worn part on the bottom of the passenger one. took me 20 mins to change them and looks great.

Did the left to right swap (Desertt5 idea) in about 10 minutes + 2 Target bags to help them slide on per the video. Very quick & easy. Many Thx!!

I need to do that too. On the bright side my right elbow gets exfoliated every time I drive. That's a word women use for soft skin. I think.

I just swappd front to back left to right.. i should have swapped left to right though.. underside of front is less seen than in the back..

well luckily i didn't do the passenger side yet.. so i'll just swap the passenger to the one i just swapped.. cool..

Sooo awesome

edit: to make maximum use of my time, i'm going to do it when i'm somewhere waiting on someone lol
