Visor Garage opener programming

I have a Chamberlain 3/4 belt drive garage door opener I recently installed and have tried to program the visor remote to operate it. I have had no luck with it so far and I was wondering if anyone has programmed one recently? I have read the book and did what they said with no luck so far.Thanks for your help.

I have a Sears (90% of which are made by Chamberlin). I just followed the instructions in the owners manual. I did have to complete ALL the steps as my opener has a rolling code. And not that it should matter, I used the center button just because it was under the little house symbol.

Thanks Chalkie I have tried that with no luck. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or what but I appreciate the response.

A thought occured to me. Before I programmed it, I cleared the entire Homelink before I did since I was not the first owner. If you did not, you might want to try that. Also, rather than just going with the owner manual you might see if the directions differ on the Homelink site HomeLink
