Voltmeter

Where do you guys hook the positive wire from a voltmeter? Some people tell me the cilinoid or directly to the battery

You want it from any 12 volt source that is only hot when the key is on. If you hook it to the battery it will read all the time and will put a small drain on the battery. Do not hook it to the coil as the coil should not have a full 12 volts while running.

Hook it to the accessory lead off the key switch (radio power).

I hooked mine in fuse box make sure it is a fuse that is hot only when key is on
