Honestly the best answer is to stay content with my Fusion and Excursion due to all the issues we're having with the kids. Hannah has to travel with a ventilator, oxygen, feeding pump, and a couple other bags, and so limited space really doesn't work for her. And on Wednesday our three year old was diagnosed with autism, which adds another layer of craziness to our lives.
WOW! Sorry to hear things aren't going that great right now Tom. Hopefully after all us here on FTE get done praying for your children, things will start to look up for you and your family.
How about it guys and gals? Tom's family needs our help.

Sounds to me like you have a smart head on your shoulders.
Family has priority over something they make on an assembly line every day.
I don't have children but that's a lot for any parent's [proverbial] plate.
Nothing wrong with looking while you're at the dealer, though.
As long as that Ex is running great, it gives you the room you require and the ability to pull a trailer when needed.

My goodness Tom. You and your family hang in there. I don't know what to say.....
We deeply appreciate the thoughts and prayers from everyone. Thanks for the thoughts about the crew cab vs. extended cab as well, you all are right, even if the deal were too much to walk away from we just wouldn't fit!
I always keep my eyes open but there's no rush; possibly the biggest obstacle is all I've done to the Excursion and the fact that I'd only get $5-6K for it. After paying $7K for it and putting another few thousand getting it where it needs to be it would be pretty tough to lose all of that unless the deal was really that good. And for $10K off it's not...but another $5K may be...
