i own 2 fullsize fords, 79-150, 96-250, looking here shortly for a ranger, caband1/2 auto xlt i guess, like to find 2000-200? dont wont little 4.cyl. any suggestions
If you go with the 4.0L SOHC, find one built after 2003 - earlier models had issues with the timing chain guides. I've read the older 4.0L pushrod engine was fairly stout, but I think those were prior to 2000.
The main thing that makes the Level II worthwhile is the Torsen differential. The leather seats, 31" tires, skid plates, tinted windows, tow hooks, Bilstein shocks, and bed liner are all nice, too.

Torsen is nice, but those other options were available to non Level II's
Even if it doesn't have it, any Ranger can be built better than a Level II.
In all honesty, a Level II is a great truck if you want to do light offroading without adding a lot of parts.
