Torque converter

I've done searches and its a pretty well known fact that Brian uses Percision Industries TC's in his trannies. But what does John Wood use?

Found some information. From what I read he uses a TC from River City Diesel on the Towmaster tranny. And Precision Industries for the upper scale models.

Well, turns out Precision Industries makes the River City Diesel units... from what I read on another forum.

I was under the impression that John uses Suncoast TC's now for the towmaster at least... not sure who he is using for anything else, but I think Suncoast's go in all of them. Could be wrong, but mine has a Suncoast!

He was using a shop to build them for him, with specific parts and some made by him. He switched to Suncoast because of production delays. I know my buddy has a towmaster with the other tc in it, his is louder and "rattley" (like some say a billet converter will always be) mine sounds smooth as butter!

Don't take my word for it on any of this, just what I have heard from some pretty reliable sources. One easy way to find out...Call John, he is always happy to discuss things with customers
