I gave sidewinder 4.9l a heads up in a PM... The board show he isn't online now, but he should check in later..
M5OD-R1(Ranger) transmissions are the little brothers of the M5OD-R2's (F-150). None of the internals, etc swaps between them, but the shifters MIGHT.
I actually bought my Shifter off another member, who dug it out of a truck at a boneyard and shipped it to me, from a state away, so I can't give any part #'s, etc. Sorry.
I do know that a simple google search for M5OD-R2 Hurst Shifter will bring up a few listings; But if I remember correctly, the shifter is discontinued.
New they were between $275-325....I paid $150 for mine, USED.
Here's the installation pics on my truck, and maybe that'll help.
I'm not exactly sure of what the OP is wanting to know, aside from if Hurst made an application for F-150's...And I'm able to confirm that they did in fact.
My truck shifts faster than it did...The entire shifter throw now, is 1-n-2, all in less than 8"..
The oem shifters' throw just from 1-N was something like 6-7".
Then the ranger shifter might not fit in the 150 ?? Wess i remember the thread when you did the shifter a few years ago , i thought you used the ranger shifter , but i guess they made a shifter for the 150 that they may not make any more....

If you follow his link and look at the mounting plate, it's different than mine. It has 6 holes, instead of 3...Almost like it's meant to be interchangeable?
I noticed some small differences, but I'm not thinking they would affect the installation.
