Adding Factory Brake Controller

Has anyone added the factory brake controller to their 2011-2013 superduty? How much did it cost and what parts were needed?

IIRC, You'll need a master cylinder, the controller, and then program pcm.

I was told the newer trucks (2011+) do not need all that.

So just the controller itself?

So it's just a matter of plugging it in to the dash harness? No flashing or whatever?

That's where my money is....

On my 2wd Excursion built in October 2000, I found the connections for the 4wd switch and the ESOF actuator, just sitting there.

Another example, my brother had a 2008 Silverado and it didn't have the switch for the trip computer, miles to empty, etc. He went online, bought the panel needed with the switch, plugged it in, started his truck, and it worked like it came from the factory that way.

I say look behind the dash and see if you see the plugs, if they're there, it's worth a shot.

I don't have the truck. I am looking potentially to purchase one but it is not equipped with the controller. I'm quite positive that all superdutys (at least newer ones) have the plug under the dash. I have plugged a Prodigy controller into a 2000 F150, 2003 F250, and a 2009 F250. From what I have read so far, it sounds like the factory controller needs a signal from the master cylinder, but may be wrong. Dealer says its around $500 to buy/ install, which is not happening.
