edge evolution??
Is this worth buying for a stk truck with 85k miles? Im fixn to do flush and filter system, and just want a dependable truck.

For the money, a scan gauge 2 is the best deal in town I have a SCT Livewire ts and it was NOT worth it. The Edge has a lot of nice features too

I've been running mine for years. On two trucks, one upto 300k before I traded it in.

Be smart though. Don't put it in Extreme and tow 15k pounds.

Anyone know if the edge evo will clear cel for egr delete? Thinking about a egr delete and wanted to make sure it want cause any problems.

No the Edge won't keep the CEL off for a EGR delete, you will need a SCT device.

LOL--after the fine they just got I doubt they're doing anything to affect emissions controls.

I have a 05 6.0 with the Edge evolution, I have blocked off egr and left the valve in place. It has the up to date program from the dealership. I unplugged the egr valve and drove the truck to see what would happen, the CEL did not come on but the edge did show the code for a bad egr valve in the diagnostic history. I plugged the valve back in and used the edge to clear the code. I have had the egr deleted for about 500 miles now and still no CEL or code in the Edge history.
