Timing question
I have a 89 f150 with a 306 high lift cam (not sure how big) a weans stealth high rise dual plane intake 600cfm edelbrock 1406 anyway. I got a timing tape an put on the balancer it said I was running 28 degrees with spout connector in and 20degrees with it out. And it ran great would light up the tires. I changed it to 10degrees with spout out and put spout in it read 18degrees. It ran ok but didn't have the power anymore. So I'm asking what do ya'll think it should be set at?
