Hi everyone Im Anthony. Im a new member here. I have a 2wd swb 68 f-100.
I really want to get it restored. I have had it since I was 15 and havent done anything with it because I didnt know an easy way of putting an IFS under it.
Along with power disc brakes all the way around. I now know about the 03-08 crown vic front end. Any info on these upgrades would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Welcome Anthony. Think long and hard before doing the Crown Vic swap. There are a lot of issues to deal with such as wheel chices, completely removing the old cross member, motor mounts (unless your using a 4.6 or 5.4). Not trying to scare you off, just alot of stuff to consider. And by the way, I have a 68 two drive short bed that I just completed the Crown Vic swap in. Set the engine (302) in it today for motor mount mock up. Really scratching my head on what I want to do for rear suspension. I guess I'll figure it out in the near future. I'll do a build thread when I get all of my pics down loaded. Good luck
Thanks I have been tossing the idea around for using the 4.6. And I've also thought about using a 351w. I think I wanna keep the 9" rear end. That would be nice to see. Maybe you could send me a link.

Just do a search for crown vic swap, lots of info.
