So I am going to look at a 4x4 99 f250 single cab 7.3 with 213k miles on it and the guy is selling it for 4500, but the tranny is having problems with downshifting, the complante is that it won't down shift and leaks a little trany fluid. I am a diesel tech in training and my guess is its loosing pressure and can't down shift would like some more thoughts before buying this please help.
Here a bump for ya. If its leaking fluid it could be a bad front seal, broken trans line, or a bad pan gasket. Some more details on where its leaking would help us out

I myself dont know that answer however it may not be related to the trans leakage causing the down shift issue. It could be a computer issue.. Just being honest with you.
