Hi Guys,
Spoke to soon I guess about my truck purring like a kitten. First thing I done when I bought the truck some 9 months ago was replace all of the running gear fluids and gaskets including oil pan and transmission pan. Never had a drip since until this last week I parked it for about 1 week on the shop slab. Noticed a couple ounces of transmission fluid puddled on the slab. Transmission pan gasket is perfect the drip is coming from the front of the transmission at the bell housing bottom cover. I cannot imagine the torque convertor leaking, so I am assuming there is a seal on the front shaft of the tranny that is going away. Any experience here? Kinda like to know what I am up against before I tear into her. She is a 1978 F250 4x4.
