I didnt like the fact that the corner section of the side marker lights looked burnt out so I had to take care of that.
First I used a heat gun on the back of the housing to soften up the glue holding the lens on. I heated it to a point I could still touch it without burning myself. Then used a screw driver to gently pry the lens off.
Then I drilled a small hole at the bottom of the housing for the wire to pass through.
I took some of the yellow led tape I had and stuck it on the inside.
I removed the old glue off of the lens and used some 3M plastic adhesive to glue the lens back on and seal the hole.
I tapped into the front bulb and got positive from the running lights and negative from the positive turn signal light. Now it stays on with parking lights and flashes with the signals.
i think i'm going to go about it alittle different and add some 5MM LEDs amber or maybe white to match my HIDs. i agree though they need alittle light there.
