'03 F-350 DRW 4x4, manufacture date 02/03. Needs a new steering box. I told the mechanic I'd buy it myself since I can get it cheaper from Tousley..
Called Tousley and got the part number 2C3Z3504AARM which gives me two options for the specified year/drive. One is marked "Gear Assembly 4WD" and the other is marked "Steering Gear F-350 All Power 4WD From 3/99." Both are the same price, and they're clearly the same part, just slightly different. Which one do I need to buy? Here are the links
Went ahead and looked back at RedHead... my biggest concern was price as many after market rebuilders are more expensive than Tousley. Gave them a call, though, and found that their part was only $20 more than Tousley's, so I went with it... They can have it to me by Friday, so that's also a plus.
