No, I doubt it.
I was thinking more like if you had removed the slave from the line.
These can be a pita to completely bleed.

No. We left the lines attached specifically for that reason. Just pulled the retaining clip and moved the slave cyl out of the way.

Is it possible that the clutch disk is in backwards? I'm pretty sure I put it in with the "this side to flywheel" side facing the flywheel like it should...

Ok so I crawled down under the truck while my dad was inside depressing the pedal... The fork was only moving about a half inch... Now to figure out why

I think you only need about 5/8"

Open the hood and look at the master cylinder as he steps on the pedal.
Check the little 4 fingered clip that holds the master cylinder pushrod on. (it's above the gas pedal.

I did away with the fragile plastic and put a brass bushing in its place.
