Ever notice once an old Ford goes on ebay a 360 turns into a 390, a 77.5-79 is now a highboy, and every replacement motor had 60,000 miles when swapped in.

craiglist is just as bad , i called yesterday on a local "390 needs rebuilding make offer" called the guy and once i pressed is it a 390 ? he says "opps did i put 390 i meant 360 opps " i passed

i was thinking about starting a crazy 390 build just for fun

Not as much around here in my area now days, but a few short years back when so many were being scraped out, they all had 390s in them. A lot of them would swear their dad or grampa ordered it that way as a special order from the factory , ha ha oh yeah. ______

2x... For pure fun, I'm thinking of building one of each a 289/302, 351M/400, 390FE, and a 460. It beats having a separate vehicle for each engine.

First! ... build an engine test stand.
