Cowl hood

Looking at a 5" cowl from VPN fiberglass and they offer a pin on for 315 and bolt on for 475.. I really want the bolt on just because its more practical but the pin on hood is only 15lbs so would it really be that much of a pain? I do get in and out of the engine compartment a lot so I'm stuck here.. Could a pin on be converted to bolt on?

I dont think it would be worth the trouble. And the bolt on hoods are a little more reinforced. Ive had both kinds on my car and the pin on was flimsy going down the highway always seemed like it was gonna fly off.

Okay thanks ill save up the $ won't be hard, but they offer both hoods that extend to the windshield and some tha don't, I'm assuming that's more of a personal taste but what looks better?

I have no experience with aftermarket hoods, but my personal preference would be to have one that extends back towards the windshield. I think it will look nicer.
