2010 lariat climate control problems
I just recently purchased a 2010 lariat. everything has been working great until today. I turned on the defroster and it stayed on. in auto or manual climate modes the air blows mostly from the defroster. I can turn the vents on and they work fine(defrost will turn off with vent). if I turn it to floor I will get a little air but mostly it goes to defrost. I have checked and the actuator motor is working. im pretty sure I have to replace the plenum chamber(ford part number 18471) and my truck is not under warranty any more. how big of a job is it to change the plenum chamber? does the dash need to be removed?
