2004 fx4 air control problem
does any one know about air control problems. do not get much air blowing out of defroster and when turn to cab heat blows fine but if i turn back to defrost it still blows out of the cab vents and then at times it will finally switch back to defrost. dealer mech says possible intermidiate contacts. true? has anyone else had this issue.

look for something in the dash ducting blocking the flapper door. I had a problem on my last truck because a No. 2 pencil had jammed itself in the door. would work great on dash and floor, but wouldn't defrost anything.
