Bill - where/what is that console from? or did you fab it out of sheet metal? i've been struggling with where i'd like to locate gauges myself lately and i really like that solution. i really don't like pillar gauges, or the add-a-hump-to-the-dash-board look.
and is that another 2.25 diameter gauge up next to the diesel warning lights? i thought about putting one there, but measured and the spot wasn't big enough. it looks like you have the guage bezel in front of the dash bezel? so the guage body was small enough to fit? i thought it'd be cool to put one there and then another where the headlight switch is now (relocating that switch somwhere else obviously) - you'd have some nice symmetry with the gauges then, and not have to look down/elsewhere to check them...
I did fab it out of 1/8" steel. The gauge on the far left is just an old battery meter from work. I was there just to fill the hole temporarily. I have my Scan Gauge there now. The gauge in the dash is a Glowshift 3 in 1. It has boost on the needle, and EGT and fuel psi are the two digital. I ordered it from Jim Rose at Rosewood. http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/3in1-...telink=LeftNav

I haven't seen that one yet Jose. I like it though. I'm thinking of adding to the one I have, and doing something between the seats like that. I want to take the center seat out and make a lockable console with cup holders, but maybe down a little lower.

Hey that's fine! It doesn't have to be something spectacular. I started this thread to get any and all interior mods all in one place, so we could all see different ideas and things to do. But I'm with you, I love the captain's chairs. I'd put them in my truck in a heartbeat!
Mine is simple and not revolutionary but I like my captain seats. Mostly because I got them for $50 bucks a piece and they are like new and a perfect match. They came from a Centurion Conversion dually I believe. I think they are comfortble but I don't drive it for a living.

Those seats look great James! I'd love me a set of those. I put a pair of buckets out of a newer dudge car of some sort in my 76, can't remember off hand. I need to go back to that place, they have a whole upstairs of an old building of seats to look at, besides what is left in the vehicles(junkyard).
I really don't have any interior mods except for quite a few gauges. I may have to do some looking for seats now. Mine is getting bad anyway. The fabric is getting REAL thin. I don't mind the comfort of our stock ones, but more comfort is always better! Gotta have the lumbar support though.
I gotta get some gauges!!!!! But I can't do without the middle seat. I love that thing. We have 6 left in the family and on long trips my youngest will perch right there in the middle. With the bigger seat in the 350, I even got my wife to ride there once just so she could have the true redneck experience (she's from CT and doesn't "get it"). Oh well, it was fun for a night!

You just need to gather up a bunch of parts and come spend a weekend with me in my shop!
