There's been a lot of talk of doing different consoles, seats, handles and other interior mods lately, and that's something we really don't see a lot of. So if anyone has ideas, pics, links to write ups or what ever, of any INTERIOR mods that you or any one else has done, whether it be overhead or center consoles, seats, grab handles, gauges, lights, or anything interior, post it up here! I've got some ideas for some one-off stuff that I'd like to build for my daily driver and my crew cab project, but I'd like to see some of the stuff that you guys have done or seen!
This is one of my smaller projects I did last summer just to have a place for gauges and switches, and to mount my brake controller without drilling holes in the dash. I also have a small CB mounted on the other side of the shifter now.
Let's see what kind of cool stuff every one has come up with to add some uniqueness and/or function to the interior of our truck!
My ash grey exploded so I turned it into a gauge pod.
Put f150 seats in from and built a console with a 3200 watt inverter underneath it. Out of sight out of mind
That's one of the coolest one's I've seen for sure
See. Here is another reason a CC would be epic. Cuz you can afford to lose seating for 1 and not worry about it.
Im not entirely sure I dig the whole shifter thing there, but that is definitely some nice work! Cant deny that just cuz of my preference.
I wanna know if anyone has done the overhead console that is at the end of the a-pillar install instructions from riffraff?
I think thats where i saw it... it was some cool custom box that went between the visors and held 3 guages?
He made it from some aluminum and put the grey fabric around it. looks legit.
Anywho. I need to get E-fuel, IC, injectors, and some rust spots fixed before I get to that!
Bill - where/what is that console from? or did you fab it out of sheet metal? i've been struggling with where i'd like to locate gauges myself lately and i really like that solution. i really don't like pillar gauges, or the add-a-hump-to-the-dash-board look.
and is that another 2.25 diameter gauge up next to the diesel warning lights? i thought about putting one there, but measured and the spot wasn't big enough. it looks like you have the guage bezel in front of the dash bezel? so the guage body was small enough to fit? i thought it'd be cool to put one there and then another where the headlight switch is now (relocating that switch somwhere else obviously) - you'd have some nice symmetry with the gauges then, and not have to look down/elsewhere to check them...
Mine is simple and not revolutionary but I like my captain seats. Mostly because I got them for $50 bucks a piece and they are like new and a perfect match. They came from a Centurion Conversion dually I believe. I think they are comfortble but I don't drive it for a living.

I am pretty sure there is another thread of this, I'll look around and see if i can find it.
