Trying to figure out this whole EGR thing?? I have 1979 f350 w/ 400 ,Edlebrock 1405 carb and Edlebrock Performer 400 EGR intake. Is there suppose to be any kind of vacuum line going to the EGR? And if so from where ? There doesn't seem to be any other emission stuff? Only vacuum lines hooked up or present are from tranny, from brake booster, from distributer, and from pcv. Am i missing stuff ? Truck seems to run fine as far as i know? Maybe its not, and i don't know any different? Any help ?? Thanks
I do beleave that thet the EGR vacumn should be "T" ed into the timed vacumn bline with the distributer, that way the EGR works when the engine reves up.

It's a little more complicated than that. Here's a diagram for a '77, but it should be close to what the '79 setup was.
Great diagram Mike, very good infromation, but with the changes he has made-Edlebrock 1405 carb and Edlebrock Performer 400 EGR intake, may not have the rest of the stock set-up.

Oops, didn't take into account the mods. You're right.
