Churchill Technology????

Does anybody have any experience with the in dash stereo navigation systems they offer. They look to good to be true and say it is all plug and play.

Here is a link to the one I would like. Hope I'm not violating a rule. I have no interest in the company but rather hope it is as good as it looks.

anyone???

This thing looks to good to be true. Has every feature and looks straight up factory. I"ve looked at pioneer and Clarion and the install looks to be difficult at best and I really don't have a lot of confidence that the final product will be seamless. Not to mention 3 times the price. Are we paying for the name because it seems to me electronics in other areas are becoming dirt cheap, along with the quality.

BTW, Is there a thread around on how to remove the factory double din in a newer (2009) SUPER DUTY?

Any opinions are appreciated.
Thanks!

I bought the Churchill Technologies in-dash navi unit off of eBay for my 2008 F-250 Super Duty and found it to be GREAT! It truly was plug & play! (All except for wiring up the rearview camera) it also looks incredibly stock. Navigating through the navigation system takes some getting used to - it's not as simple as a Gamin Nuvi - but it asks alot more to direct your commercial vehicle via the right roads to your destination. For instance, It asks if you have a trailer, your height, etc, and when it sees your getting on a Parkway (illegal in NY), it advises you against it - CONSTANTLY! It does a lot more (iPod, bluetooth, watch movies, change desktop to your favorite pic, etc. but its too much to list. The sound is great as I used an amp for the subwoofer under the rear seat while using the stock speakers.

Try it... you won't be sorry!

Scott Paladini,

PS: PM me with any questions.
