Here's what $5 gets you on Craigslist !!!

I stumbled across this by total accident, and I'm quite glad I did This will be installed on my '79 Crewcab project. I'll hook it up to the center dash speaker just like it's supposed to be. I plan on adding door speaks, rear speaks (hidden), and a sub (hidden) that will be controlled w/ my I-pod. I'll have the factory look and function, but be able to have some decent quality tunes when desired.

If you look closely you'll see the wires on the left side, not even cut !!!

Here's the factory ad...

Very cool, not only that you bought it but that someone thought to list it on craigslist and not just trash it! I have never seen one either and I have owned an awful lot of dents!

That's awesome; I've only seen one or two on eBay before. I believe the tiny holes next to the clock and radio buttons are to set the time; one is for hours and one is for minutes. I think I read about the option in my 79's manual.

I remember seeing a few of those radios when I worked at the Ford garage, but I don't remember what vehicles they were in for sure, but I don't think I saw one in a dentside, but I could be wrong.

Kinda hard to keep something like that clear after all these years! It is kinda old school cool tho!

PS: I remember I had a Texas Instruments calculator with the same display, I guess it was stylin for the times.

Very nice find. To bad it doesn't have FM, but that really isn't the point. That's very cool.

That was the best game! My brother and I spent many of hours playing the ones we had were white. My brother still has his, and it still works, great fun, thanks for sharing a fun memory!
