Woke up to sirens at 0430 today. Turns out someone put their car in the neighbors pasture again. I think it was last night or really early this morning. There appeared to be frost on the windshield, at least it looked like it from 100 yards away. I hope who ever it was wasn't injured or worse. People need to learn to slow down on our road............
Put the rebuilt shock ion after work and discovered that one of the track adjusting bolts was missing and the other was backed way out. Guess that explains why the track was so loose. Bought a bolt but had to by a thread die also since they didn't sell full thread bolts in a 12 X 1.50 pitch.
Hopefully she holds together for the weekend.
And I think my rear shock is missing some parts and that is why it is not lasting me very long before it blows out.
That didn't quite work. In the replacement parts...1993-2000 section...page 1 if anybody even cares...
You should buy an Arctic Cat so you don't have to be fixing on your Yamaha all the time and then you could get more riding in!!
