I have returned everyone, couldnt stay away anymore. I found a 1989 F-250 7.3l E4OD. Its single cab like I like, 4x4, 127k miles, Original owner.
Best part of it all is I got it for 500 bucks cause it needs a new IP. He is throwing in a new IP for free with the truck, and a shop to replace it in. This is gonna be my project truck everyone so throw some ideas to me, no more than a 3-4" lift and 35's. He has a 085 turbo kit complete with pipes and oil lines.
first and worst year for the e40d iirc.with 127k and used just as a normal pickup, she could be original.keep it in mind.but then again,if your going to primarily just use it lightly too,it might keep going for a long while yet.
you might be planning on a zf5 swap no matter anyway?
good to see you come back to the idi.i think most of us probably knew you would.im surprised you didn't long before this.you must have been having some serious withdrawals.
he has an 085,but does it come with the truck!?
now that you've had that v10 truck for a while now, what's your overall impressions of her?
MY overall impression of her is she needs paint and cleaning. But she is in good shape. Turbo kit comes with thetruck. Type four the came like that from 89-91. I had bad withdrawals...... torque converter and VSS are new...
F250HDXLT.... I love my V10.... I trust it as much as the idi. And that's no joke. I seriously do. I got 15 at best but I couldn't tell the gooseneck flatbed was there
