Question

1996 E350 Digital Odometer

Does anyone know why this odometer changes from 399,999 to 300,001 instead of 400,001? Is this a design flaw or does Ford simply think that the vehicle will become obsolete before 400 thousand miles. This happened this past week on a commercial deisel powered van at work. Any opinions or obeservations would be apperciated.

Sounds like a faulty PSOM. Ford can order one already burnt for the correct number of miles.
