'95 Ranger Odometer
I have a '95 ranger which the odometer quit working. Did some research and found worm gear on odometer motor broken. I went to salvage yard got another head with close mileage -- same problem. Does anyone know where I can get just the worm gear or odometer motor and gear. Ford said NOT A CHANCE. Seems this part goes out @ around 125,000. Any help appreciated.

you can get a whole instrument gauge cluster for about $30 at pull a part if there is one in your area, or check ebay for a salvage one. Easier just to install the whole cluster, a few screws and plug in your harnesses and be done. www.pullapart.com
