Well my old 00 F-250 has 327k miles and is starting to show its age. I will be listing it for sale soon and wanted to get your guys opinion on the listing price. Truck is a 2000 F-250 Ext Cab, Long bed, 4x4, 7.3L. In the past 2 years, I replaced the glow plugs, batteries, starter, lock out hubs, wheel bearings, new tires and just the general maintenance stuff. She has rust on the cab corners, some rust on the bed side (very small holes) and the bottom of the doors. The only place the rust is really bad is the cab corners. What kind of price do you think I could get for it. I would like 7k but realistically would take 6k. Am I too far off?
Cant really say what its worth, but for a referance I bought mine for 9k with 208k miles. 00 f250, 4x4 7.3. This is a Texas truck on very minor accident, no rust, leather lariat, warn hubs, when I bought it.
I find it all depends on the area your in and the type of demand this is for them.
No, I want to upgrade to a crew cab, the ext cab has served me well but I am ready for a bigger cab. The truck runs great and has been a great truck for me, I'll miss it but I don't want another 7.3l, I want something that is going to be quiet when I'm cruising down the highway...
if you still have this in a few months, let's say three or four months, I'll buy it. I'm looking for a forged rod motor to deck out and a friend of mine owns a body shop so not an issue.
