rearend??
I have a 2003 F-350, 6.0L and was looking into changing fluid over to Amsoil and not real sure what kind of rearend is in the truck? My option when asked was either a Dana 80 or a 10.5. Looking for a little info and help! I also was told that I have to add an additive to it, what kind and where do I get it?

Your truck has the Torqshift 5R110W transmission. The 4R100 transmission was only mated to trucks equipped with the 5.4L and 6.8L 2-valve gas engines and the 7.3L diesel.
As far as your rearend goes, if it's a dually it has the Dana 80. If it's a single rear wheel, it has the Sterling 10.5.
