I need to know if anyone has, or knows where to get the rear drivers side window for a '99 F150 Extended Cab. I droped mine on the ground and what do you know? They break! Well, anyways, to say the least I need to find a replacement now. It gets mighty hot in vegas these days and driving around with no window glass kinda defeats the purpose of AC. Also it looks bad. I was thinking about using some Lexan or Plexigalss from HomeDepot, but I don't know if I can get it to bend to the contour of the side. Anyone have any expeirence with plexiglass?? Take a look at my gallery if I made you confused with the name of the window. Any help is great. Thanx in advance!

I've used plexiglass for a replacement window. Two big problems.
1. The whole surface cracks up and soon you can't even really see through it. Trying to curve it to a contour, or just plain vibration while driving causes the cracking.
2. It is not really safe. Perhaps for your rear side window in an extended cab it would be O.K.
I'd recommend against it, but if you want to try it out, the good news is it is really pretty cheap.
Well I put in a peice of 10.00 plexiglass. .236 thick. It was a bit difficult to cut clean. I cut it with a dremmel. I put it on the truck and it looked OK. Now i am painting the inside of the plexiglass black to look like super dark tint. I have painted glass to look like this before. Looks SWEEET! I am having a problem getting the plastic to stay bent to the right shape. I think I will use it as a temporary solution until I get the real glass.
