88 fuel pump ????'s

engines getting rebuilt with a cam, heads an maf. i have 3 fuel pumps, the 2 in tank pumps will be 255 lph's.
question; can i eliminate the frame pump ? or does it have to match ? if it gets eliminated, what do i do with the wires to it ?

That depends on the pressure the tank pumps will put out and if the engine is FI or non FI.

I would say keep the main frame($70)and the high pressure one. the internals are harder to replace and $130. junglemike49

Bill, the in tank pumps run around 90 psi

Then you would not need the frame pump.
Just tape off the wires and tie them back.
I think you can bypass the frame pump by just plugging the line from the rear into the fuel filter and plug the pressure line going to the fuel rail into the other end of the filter.

The pressure line from the tanks should go into a "Y" and then to the fuel filter.
