51 Dueler,
OK, beauty eh? I was just going to send a post asking you to E-mail me when/if you found out how to get the brake pedal bushing out. I asked on a thread a while back, but didn't find out. My brake pedal "wags" a bit. Is that a worn bushing? If so, how did you get it out???? (Inquiring minds want to know ! LOL)
It probally a combination of both the bushing and the bolt. The pin that holds the bolt in place is really hard to get out. I drilled a tiny hole in the middle and punched the rest out. Now the bushing. You must find the crack in the bushing to remove it. I took a sharp screw driver and pounded it under the bushing by the crack. About half-way through I pushed the screw driver up to bend the bushing in which I then pushed it out with my finger. You may have to take some sandpaper to smooth int out. The bolt usually gets big grooves where the pedals go. I was gonna replace mine but up here they want $30. Then I though it is good enough since the groves only catch my nail.
