Any Carter YFA or YF [pre-feedback] can be made to work. For most, this will be 1983 and earlier.

I have a 1986 with 4.9L and have done the Duraspark conversion with a MSD box. Originally, I used a carburetor [YFA] from a 1982 truck. Currently, my carburetor is a YF from a 1970 F350. It was calibrated for pre-emmissions... I did have to modify the holes on the mounting plate. It works great!
