Ford Oasis ESP Access Help

Does anyone have access to this "Oasis" system? I've identified that my truck was originally purchased with Premium Care and I'm trying to track down the original owner.

The dealership gave me a name, number, and address and when I called Ford to verify they said the information I had was incorrect.

If the ESP is still active on the vehicle the dealer will be able to tell you. There's always the possibility that the original owner took a pro-rated refund on the balance of the warranty after they sold it or traded it in. If you're trying to get it officially transferred into your name Ford's ESP folks should be able to assist you with the transfer.

If its active why do you want to find the previous owner? When you take it in the Ford service department just verifies coverage via the VIN. Did they tell you to contact the previous owner?

Yes, it does and there is a small fee involved. However, I would expect your local Ford dealer and the ESP department should be able to help with that process.

Who sold you the rig?

I purchased it from a used non-Ford dealership. Ford's ESP department hasn't been very helpful. I provided them the name the dealership provided me and all they would say is the information was not correct... I'm waiting for the finance guy to get back at my local ford dealership then I'll work from there.

Good luck. Perhaps the folks you bought it from could help verify the info. Also, you should be able to get the owner info (at least a name) from the original title.
